1. About this app

No Brainer: Sale & Compare-At ("the App") is a Shopify application that lets merchants bulk-set compare-at prices and run sales across their product catalog. The App is operated by No Brainer Apps ("we", "us", "our").

2. Data we collect

The App accesses and stores the following merchant data in order to provide its service:

  • Product and variant data — product IDs, variant IDs, prices, and compare-at prices, used to preview and apply bulk price changes.
  • Shop settings — your store's domain and default preferences (discount type, rounding, sale tag) stored so your settings are remembered between sessions.
  • Adjustment history — a log of every price change made through the App, including which variants were changed and what the prices were before and after, so you can review and revert changes.

We do not collect, store, or process any personal data about your customers (names, emails, addresses, payment information, etc.).

3. How we use data

Data is used solely to:

  • Apply and revert bulk price changes on your behalf.
  • Display your adjustment history within the App.
  • Remember your default settings between sessions.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

4. Data retention

We retain your store's data for as long as you have the App installed. When you uninstall the App, your data is scheduled for deletion within 48 hours in accordance with Shopify's GDPR requirements. You may also request immediate deletion by contacting us at the address below.

5. Third-party services

The App uses Shopify's GraphQL Admin API to read and update product prices. All communication with Shopify is governed by Shopify's Privacy Policy.

6. Cookies and analytics on this website

This marketing website (no-brainer.app) is separate from the App itself, and uses a small number of cookies to understand how visitors interact with our content so we can improve it.

  • Strictly necessary — a single theme preference and a cookie-consent record stored in your browser's local storage. These are required for the site to remember your light/dark theme choice and your cookie consent decision. They are not sent to any server.
  • Analytics (optional) — Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-WTE44H6JEF) sets cookies named _ga and _ga_* to measure aggregate page views, traffic sources, and on-page engagement. These cookies are only set after you click "Accept all" in our cookie banner. If you click "Reject non-essential", Google Analytics runs in Consent Mode with all storage denied — no cookies are written and no personal identifiers are sent.

You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site, or by using the cookie banner that reappears when no decision is stored.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your store's data at any time by contacting us. We will respond within 30 days.
